About the Cell
The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) of RABD Mahavidyalaya, Hansari Madawara, Lalitpur, has been established
in accordance with the UGC (Grievance Redressal) Regulations, 2012 to ensure a transparent, fair, and responsive
system for resolving grievances of students, faculty, and staff members.
The Cell aims to create a respectful and positive campus environment by addressing complaints related to
academic, administrative, and personal issues in a timely and confidential manner.
Objectives
- To provide an effective mechanism for resolving grievances of students, teachers, and staff.
- To ensure that all grievances are handled fairly, impartially, and confidentially.
- To uphold the principles of transparency and accountability within the institution.
- To promote harmony and mutual respect among all stakeholders.
UGC Guidelines Overview
As per the UGC Grievance Redressal Regulations, 2012:
- Every college must constitute a Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) to handle complaints from students and staff.
- The Cell must include faculty members, administrative representatives, and student members.
- Complaints may include issues related to admission, assessment, discrimination, harassment, or administrative delays.
- All grievances should be acknowledged and resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
How to File a Grievance
Any student, faculty, or staff member may submit their grievance to the Chairperson of GRC in writing or via email.
- Complaints can be submitted directly to the Principal’s office or any GRC member.
- Written complaints should include full details and supporting documents, if applicable.
- Complaints can also be sent via email to the official GRC email ID.
